STEP 7 - INTERNAL USES FOR HORSES

broken image

Believe it or not, internal use of Essential Oils is fairly controversial.

But our company has perfectly melded modern advances and testing procedures to ensure the purity and efficacy of each Essential Oil.

Every Essential Oil is put through the highest standard of rigorous and thorough testing. This testing protocol sets the bar for quality, purity, efficacy, and consistency.

When an Essential Oil is deemed worthy to be sold as one of our Essential Oils, you’ll know that it has the highest quantity of active, beneficial constituents, and that it is free of contaminants and adulterations.

And we know that the same care and attention—as well as the same commitment—to only provide the very best is not unique to us; they’re the same qualities you employ when taking care of those you love the most.

IMPORTANT: For internal use of Essential Oils: when using oils orally with horses, only use those oils that have a supplement label, and are labeled for internal use.

Internal use is not a very common way to use oils with horses, but it can be very beneficial in certain circumstances.

First, it is generally not recommended that you give more than one to two drops internally at any one time. With that in mind, here are some ways you can use Essential Oils INTERNALLY with your horse:

• Mixed with feed.

• On a yummy treat.

• Place a drop on your finger and rub the residue on your horse’s gums.

• One drop of Essential Oil per gallon of drinking water (mix with a carrier oil before putting in the water).

• One drop of oil per 5–10 mL carrier oil in a syringe; give orally via dosing syringe.
